I get them settling into the knowledge of the one having feelings for the other, even the sweet kiss on the cheek in the beginning.  But her agreeing to an annual booty call?  Him jumping from a divorce into a proposal?  Sort of an unlikelihood.  But I absolutely loved him going with her on that first anniversary of her mom's death.  It was incredibly sweet.  And, the subsequent annual tradition through the years of their partnership was an original idea.
