I wish I could somehow convey everything it means to me that you’ve showed back up in my life, reanimated the corpse of our beloved, lost website, and put your story (and your soul??) back out there, once more, for public consumption. This story... oh my god. This story was the highlight of my life for so long - I sincerely hope that some of those reviews you found printed out included communication from me, if only so that you could truly remember how special it was (and you are!!) to me. There’s still a flame in my heart that was never quenched knowing you put my name in your masterpiece. At any rate... I could never say enough, but I pray I’ve impressed on you - even a little - what a wonderful early Christmas present this has all been.

Colleen!!!! It’s so much fun seeing reviews from you again (even if the screen name has evolved since SVUfiction 1.0). Yours were absolutely included and found in that stack of printed reviews that I re-discovered recently and I was so grateful to have found them - and you again!  Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words and your encouragement to continue.  You are correct that there is a lot of me in this story, some things cathartic to write and some things painful.  It’s one of the reasons that I still feel the urge to continue it, even after having shut it away for all those years.  It makes me so happy to know that you’ll be in the wings when I post the next chapter. xoxo, Jessica

Jessica. I actually want to cry real tears because 1. I can't believe you're back, 2. This incredible story is back and 3. The beloved site we know and love is back! It's all I've been dreaming about for years on end hoping that Breaking Point would continue and this site would resurrect somehow. I agree, a community was started here that was unlike any other fandom, it brought together such a wealth of diverse, incredible people all bound together by SVU’s characters and I only hope we can recreate some of that magic once more. My actual review/s of this phenomenal story died a long time ago when this site went down BUT rest assured I'm going to reread and review all over again because not only is your storytelling INCREDIBLE but Breaking Point is the ultimate fic for me, hands down the buck stops here - you inspired me to write boundary pushing heart wrenching, descriptive and palpable stories and I'm forever grateful. I can’t wait to see where this story goes/continues and eventually finishes. And (dare I say it), maybe there will be more on the horizon.. ? Haha. Love you girl. Thank you for revisiting these masterpieces and for bringing back our SVU wonderland.

Thanks for your awesomely supportive words, and for your periodic nudges over the years that finally made me revisit Breaking Point again. I promise that I will stop procrastinating and finally try to dust off the half-completed twentieth chapter that's been sitting unfinished for years. I long to finally be able to say "Completed" and give E/O the closure they deserve. Personally, it wouldn't feel the same to try to end this story on any other website than one that mirrors the SVUfiction site that once was, so I appreciate your willingness to be an initial guinea pig as I try to get this off the ground.
