I really, really love this. It's tender and sweet, but exactly the right amount of edge and honestly needed to communicate everything between them that was wrong and right, all at once. I also particularly love that you made it clear Olivia was the partner for him without trashing Dani Beck. That was extremely well done, and I applaud you. Honestly, this whole little vignette makes me want to rewatch these seasons, and I literally just did that this spring. LOL!

One of the things I've always loved about this one is the intimacy you create witth them just being near one another. (Notice how I avoided saying "proximity"?? Ha...) It's more than sufficient, because they understand each other in a way that transcends anything physical, or even verbal. It ends up evoking something that feels so comforting, and I like that I'm re-reading this before turning in for an early night because it's such a soothing image to cling to. Ah, the good old days of seasons 7 and 8... xoxo Jessica
